“Bringer Of Hope”

Introduction

There are children, mothers, fathers and elderly around us who struggle to have a full meal. There are elderly who suffered from loss of familial love, loneliness, broken heart due to loss of loved ones. They may just live with a blind, ill, or elderly relative who loves them but is unable to care for them. There are parents who are struggling to provide, family members struggling to care for children and children lost without the guidance and love they need. There are numerous factors that contribute to a child's lack of parental care, but the consequences are the same regardless of the reason. Perhaps their status makes them nearly invisible, and the risk they face is misunderstood by people who are unfamiliar with it. Who keeps track of the people who live on the streets, in landfills, and in sewer systems? Pertubuhan Kebajikan Agape Pulau Pinang is a charity that journeys with families in Penang affected by urban poverty. They provide community support, food aid, distribution of financial support and running educational programmes.  They hope to see children, mothers, fathers and elderly live their lives with dignity, love and hope for their future. Therefore, this initiative provides an excellent platform for us to remind the society that the community needs the same love and care that we have received. As a result, we really hope that our programme will be able to assist those who have faced adversity early in their lives.

1. To gather funds to support such an idea and make it a reality.
2. To provide requested goods and items to the children and elderly with disabilities at Pertubuhan Kebajikan AGAPE Pulau Penang.
3. To share happiness and hope to the children and elderly with disabilities at Pertubuhan Kebajikan AGAPE Pulau Penang.

Budget Estimation

The main risk and challenge that we might face during this crowdfunding project is we are not able to reach the target. This is due to Malaysian society not familiar with the crowdfunding project and we cannot gain enough trust from them.

Optimistic

We use flexible crowdfunding which is much easier and convenient to ongoing our project or volunteer. If we exceed the target fund more than 10% which is RM 250 and above, we will use RM 229.76 to purchase extra 2-units of Sangobion 100 Capsules and 2-units of Bion2 Probiotic Multivitamin & Minerals. Furthermore, we will use the rest of the excess fund which is RM 20.24 or more to purchase extra sets of masks and give to our NGO as a gift. If the amount is exceeded but lower than 10% we will use the money to purchase some biscuits and beverages for the children and elderly with disabilities at Pertubuhan Kebajikan AGAPE Pulau Pinang.

Pessimistic

If the fund is not reaching the target or less than 20% of our target which is below RM500, if this problem occurs, what we will do is to cut the budget by prioritizing the needs like supplements for the children and elderly with disabilities at Pertubuhan Kebajikan AGAPE Pulau Pinang rather than some less important things like cabinets. Although we could not reach the target fund, we will try our best to maximize value by using the fund. We will use the fund RM 62 to purchase 1 unit Bion2 Probiotic Multivitamin & Minerals. The remaining amount will be used to buy 1 set of masks and 3 hand sanitizers. If the fund is not reaching the target with higher than 20%, we are not only cutting the budget for cabinets with the amount of RM438 but also the quantity of Megalive Du-gard which is up to 2 with the amount of RM468.80.
